Dissociation Constant Studies of 2-Substituted 4-Formylbenzoic Acid based on Conductometric Parameters using Fuoss-Hsia Theories

چکیده

The dissociation constant is a quantitative measure of the strength an acid in solution. This study examines for series substituted acids like Ortho-alkoxy-4-formylbenzoic acid. use (2-methoxy ethanol) as solvent contributed to expected form free ions or separated ion pair which has been studied with conductometric method at different temperatures ranged from 293.15 318.15K. aims figuring out constant, equivalent conductance infinity dilution, and Walden product by minimization technique using Fuoss-Hsia both (Modified Complete) equations. It found results that calculated values based on statistical sum square (different between practical theoretical values) dilution constant. also observed increase temperature leads molar association. Moreover, alkoxy group affected compounds. In this study, thermodynamic parameters (Ho, Go So) have evaluated discussed. Finally, effect substituent groups rate was explained agreement principles mesomeric(M) Inductive effect(I)
